have a break, have a kit-kat?
well, i'm not trying to promote kit kat at here. yea, sometimes when everything comes at once, those assignments, homeworks and tests, we should let ourselves to have a break, let our hair down, enjoy the slow pace of town and maybe chill at cafe with friends and just plain talk.
How i wish i could go back to my hometown too on this week of mid semester break. due to the high price of air ticket, i give up this idea since my daddy will be coming over for meeting and stay with me for few days. but yea, you eventually feel the loneliness when you see all your friends are going home and you got to stay at this place, alone. luckily,i still have friends and part time job here to accompany to pass my holidays time. tonnes of assignments due after break too, gonna get the engine started.
i have been so wanting to go malacca for their satay celup, but yea, we are lazy to drive there, and we do not like buses that much, i only can stay at kl here during this one whole week. fill up my time with dramas, movies, work, friends and assignments.

my favorite singer
everyone has the particular favorite person in mind when we start the topic, especially about singer. agree? this is because i believe music is the best way to express your feeling and thoughts. whenever i feel down or happy or in between, i'll definitely switch on my music, loud or soft based on my mood. and the best moment is that when that particular song which totally suits your situation, you will actually pause whatever that you are doing, listen really carefully to the lyrics and sing with it. if you had just gone through a break up or fights, you might even cry out loud when the song is played. humans are emotional, but we learnt from mistakes. you get up from where you fall.
well, my favourite singer is a chinese lady from Malaysia. Proudly to say, Malaysia does come out with good and efficient singer which really sing our heart out. my idol is Fish Leong @ Jasmine Leong @ Liang Jing Ru. i'm not sure have you heard of her before, but her song, the way she sing and express it really touches my heart. everytime when i listen or sing her song, i can feel myself facing the same situation as her, from happy, overjoy to sad or depressed.
Fish Leong was born on June 16, 1978 at Bahau, Seremban, Malaysia. She had achieved much success in Taiwan, Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Japan. She is known as the "Queen of Love songs" for the chinese. is famous for her lov-themed ballads, many of which have become popular karaoke hits.
some of my friend who do not understand mandarin love her song too, they can start humming it with me. some of her song like "courage" (yong qi) really caught my heart. it's about the courage of accepting love and especially in forbidden relationships. song like "happy breakup" (fen shou kuai le), "sunrise" and many others are popular hits too.
i adore her, and i get advice through her lyrics, i enjoy listen to her song no matter what mood i'm in. she's definite my favourite among all.

A bored gifted student
when you are a gifted student, usually, parents love you, teachers like you, your friends stick around you but some people just love calling you "nerdy", for the reason, "you are smart"! unfortunately, i'm one of the nerdy in their eyes.
It's hard to be low profile as a top student in school. not only in school i shall say, it's graded based on the whole Malaysia, and i am in the top 5 list. wow! i know, some students are envy of this achievements, but do you know how much effort i had put in to get myself roll up on the top 5? That's a huge question mark.
i love reading books, either fiction or non-fiction. i think library is my second home since the age of 4. i love being surrounded by shelves of books instead of mountains of clothes like what other girls do at my age. they would love hanging out shopping or loitering around in shopping mall for hours yet not feeling tired but start yawning the moment they smell book. it is totally different for me.
besides, i love reading at home or library,not at cafe like starbucks. for me, it's kind of wasting money. i really studied or make efforts to get good grades whenever there is assignments, test or exam. i take every single task seriously. i would rather burn the midnight oil just to squeeze more knowledge in my brain rather than sleeping.
so yea, i have a very bored life. studying, studying and studying. i was born with "study" i guess. of course, i have friends, but none of them are as dull as me. i do not have favourite hobby, once in a blue moon, i'll go for badminton or hit the gym.
do you wanna be the second me? i doubted.

The Cranberries
when we talked about The Cranberries, surely we thought of zombies. yea, because one of their 8 top 20 singles on Modern Rock Tracks Charts was "zombies"!
so, The Cranberries is an Irish band formed in Limerick in 1989. Previously, they were known as The Cranberry Saw Us. Their glamorous years have flown for years! They even came out with the latest album "ROSES" which is the sixth album on 27 February 2012 which was recorded earlier since May 2011.
This band's sound incorporates indie pop, post-punk, Irish folk and pop rock elements although they are widely associated with alternative rock. They had rose to international fame in the 1990s with their debut album entitled "Everybody Else is doing it, So Why Cant's we?". It became a commercial success and sold over 5 millions copies in US. The band has also achieved 4 top 20 albumb on the Billboard 200 Chart and 8 top 20 Singles on Modern Rock Tracks chart which includes "Promises" which was certified the gold in the US.
The biggest and most successful tour of the Cranberries' career was the world tour which had started in April 1999 and ended in July 2000.
Now, they had reunite and keep going on. Their members are Dolores O'Riordan (lead vocals, keyboards, rhythm, lead guitar, acoustic guitar), Noel Hogan (lead and rhythm guitar), Michael Hogan (bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) and Fergal Lawler (drums and percussion).
