The Cranberries

when we talked about The Cranberries, surely we thought of zombies. yea, because one of their 8 top 20 singles on Modern Rock Tracks Charts was "zombies"!

so, The Cranberries is an Irish band formed in Limerick in 1989. Previously, they were known as The Cranberry Saw Us. Their glamorous years have flown for years! They even came out with the latest album "ROSES" which is the sixth album on 27 February 2012 which was recorded earlier since May 2011.

This band's sound incorporates indie pop, post-punk, Irish folk and pop rock elements although they are widely associated with alternative rock. They had rose to international fame in the 1990s with their debut album entitled "Everybody Else is doing it, So Why Cant's we?". It became a commercial success and sold over 5 millions copies in US. The band has also achieved 4 top 20 albumb on the Billboard 200 Chart and 8 top 20 Singles on Modern Rock Tracks chart which includes "Promises" which was certified the gold in the US.

The biggest and most successful tour of the Cranberries' career was the world tour which had started in April 1999 and ended in July 2000.

Now, they had reunite and keep going on. Their members are Dolores O'Riordan (lead vocals, keyboards, rhythm, lead guitar, acoustic guitar), Noel Hogan (lead and rhythm guitar), Michael Hogan (bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) and Fergal Lawler (drums and percussion).
